LPS17 - First shot at this

As this is my first entry I decided on a conceptual image for this topic and came up with the 'egg timer theme using two sheets of white paper and a few grains of salt and providing the title of 'Time Lost Is Time Gained' signifying both the decay and growth

I'd be interested in thoughts/critique

I think the concept is there, but obtaining and shooting a real hourglass has so much more of a visually stimulating possibility.

Very creative approach. It would be interesting to see a 3D version as well for comparision. Curve your paper just a titch and use some side lighting. May not work, but just a thought. Good luck and best wishes!

Thanks for the thought. I tried your suggestion but found no signifigant change to the above image, probaby detracting from it more. I know it is very stark but that is the intent. I'll play with the concept a little more and see what I come up with.

Decided to try something a little different so have used this image instead, titled 'Divorce'
