Justa flowin and a blowin in the wind.........
Hello All,
I took off a little early from work and headed down to the Baylands Rookery. There were lots of Snowy Egrets getting busy picking mates and showing off.
There were also quite a few Night Herons there too. Most of the birds were up in the trees. They'd fly in and out of the trees right into the Sun. So no flight shots, but the wind was blowing and the Egrets were dancing....lol Even with the mixed lighting, I think they came out OK.
Time for bed.........
Thanks for looking,
Steve

Note: you may have external links turned off under Customize Gallery. I had to copy the links and view then in another page to see them.

Sorry about the links. I had to load these on Pbase, cuz I was having Smugmug probs last night. I attached from Pbase, like I do from Smugmug and obviously that doesn't work
I have since uploaded them to Smugmug and have edited the links in my post(although I couldn't place them where I wanted)
Thanks,
Steve

Yeah, with Spring on the way there's going to be lots of bird activity on both coasts Nothing as X rated as Ginger's post Although, I did get a series of shots of Northern Harriers doing the deed :uhoh So much activity. I went late and figured I'd only see a few birds and I saw dozens. Unfortunately, they were almost all up in trees. Birds, go figure...... :lol
Thanks for the comments,
Steve
Nah, it wasn't external links, it was taking the url off of "properties", instead of my normal copy and paste I couldn't get these uploaded to Smugmug last night :pissed After 3 tries, I gave up and uploaded them to Pbase And then proceeded to screw up the link..... That's what I get for posting when I'm so tired
Thanks for the comments,
Steve

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
