I think I know what you are all going to choose but here are my tries.
A very un-interesting shot of a rooting Potato (I think the composition needs work if I am to use this!) lol. I may even re-shoot it, unless you all think I am wasting my time.

And a dried Rose. Now I know someone else has entered a Rose and I thought, "Darn it!!!" but, here is my version. (Using my very expensive lighting system, my desk lamp, and my hubby's black sweatshirt! haha).

    it think there is more than one entry of roses...your is very nice.
    i think i would like the root if it was a cutaway growing in the earth...
    but what do i know...nothing....:D

    My daisies which are similarly titled to yours ("Loves me not") were similarly lit and held.
    I lit them with candles because the power was out and they are in a beer bottle!
    My background was some bristol board.
    Nice to see other people being as low tech as I am.

    Oh my goodness! I just saw your daisies! Our entries are almost identical in title as well as composition!
