My wife liked the urban shots that we got of our son so much that she wanted to go back and get some of our whole family. Got some good use out of the tripod! C&C Welcome. Enjoy

I really like these. I had totally given up on pics outside until I saw these. How did you pull this off with empty side walks?

I really like the poses and framing of these shots, very nice!

Oh possibly on number 3 your wife is standing a bit stiffly? Maybe relaxing the far leg would look more casual.

    Nice. :)

You guys are such a cute family!

I really like one and two. I keep looking again and I'm leaning towards number two. I think I like it better, but you could almost say it COULD have been shot in a nice studio. Number one is definatly the street, no if ands or buts about it. Really nice job!

When I use the self timer, I always have trouble with getting the focus right. Actually, I often have trouble with that no matter what I shoot :D

Thank you all for the wonderful compliments!:D

Shane422, this part of town is fairly vacant during the day, so that's when we planned to go in order to have as little people there as possible. The clone tool also comes in very handy if you know what I mean... I had to use it on #1 a little.

#3 - she looks really cold lol just teh way she's holding her right hand kinda says "hurry up and take so I can go inside"

    I LOVE the first one...

I hate to be negative, but my first thought is "why is this group of people standing out in the cold not properly dressed for it". Honestly, that's what popped into my brain.

I like the shots, especially #1, but the paternal side of me did think "get some clothes on".
