Where were these photographed? Very nice work! As said, have any MotoGP or World Superbike?

    Yes, the right word. Thanks!

I really enjoyed MotoGP at the Nuerburgring; what a party for the entire weekend, and almost as much fun watching the spectators as watching the races. Spa/Francorchamp in Belgium was also an awesome track, and the Salzburgring in Austria was the only place that regular people like me could access the pits and view from the inside of certain apexes. I would give anything for media access to those places.

Thank you, Danke Chris und Hilde!

The second shot. hmm. Nürburgring. Rain like monsoon. I`m standing at the end of start, called Castrol-S. And wow, one after the other car goes outside the track. Too fast for me and my cam. You see one of the results:D

    Just another one:

    Hello Arvid,

    thank you for youre posting.

The half car on left is not a McLaren Mercedes. It is a Toro Rosso. Scott Speed was the Drvier.

    I`m not a professional. It`s my hobby, a expensive hobby...:D

    This pictures I´ve taken with a EOS 1D MKIII and the 400 5,6 L + 1,4TC.
For the Ferrari 360 modena i used the 1DMKIII and the Sigma 500 4,5.
    In 90% i also used a monopod.

For dynamic shoots you dont need fast glases. You have to pull the Lens with youre target.
In this case with the car. So you will get moving wheels and a blurred background. This is alos possible with a Pentax K10D and a Tamron 70 - 300mmmwink.gif

I hope you understand what i mean - sorry for my english...

    yeah thats strange! haha

could be the tire is of the tarmac and breakes on? i watch a lot of Formula one racing and sometimes the wheels come up after a curve or in a tight corner, that would explain the braking as well..

oh well just an hypothesis.. rolleyes1.gif

Wow! Such a fantastic shot! I hope to make it to an F1 race during the next season. Do you happen to have this shot in a higher res? Something around 1920x1200 for my computer's background? :ivar

The lighting in that has to be PP.. But I really want to know how it was done.
