I just did a new portrait of my wife and I - we are sending it out with our christmas card.

I really like it...my only critical opinion would be you should've worn something red or green since it is a Christmas Card picture. Nonetheless...I think you did great!

I'm having a hard time believing though, that your skin tones are so red. If I'm wrong, shoot me, but I see too much red.

I was just going to rely on the auto color fix - but the suggestion on the skin-tone help is great. I got a BFA in photography and they trained us to do all sorts of crazy work on curves and color balance. It took so much time and I just got sick of it so don't do much post-processing on color anymore. I rely on the auto fixes when I print because I am pretty satisfied with them. However - this quick adjustment of the blue on levels and desaturation of the reds works wonders and takes a lot less time. I OWE YOU!

Here is my color-adjusted version (with a few other tweaks). Now I think it's fairly accurate to our actual skin tones.
