Hi there, I'm supposed to be doing a photoshoot with my cousin and her (yes) girlfriend in the next couple weeks before Christmas.. Needless to say I need some ideas or resources on ways to pose multiple people. Currently I photograph individuals at work; not so much multiple people.. So any ideas\hints\tricks would be muchly appreciate! Luckily my first 'official' photoshoot is with my family, but I'm terribly nervous!! help please! . Thanks in advance. Jamie.

I think that the best thing you could do is spend a bunch of time lurking in the people forum - lots of great posts there of singles, couples and big groups - find some shots you like and then go to those photogs galleries for more inspiration.
Much will be determined by the size of your subjects, your light sources and your location as well.
I'm not much of a portrait photog, but it is really important to pay attention to details - backgrounds, clutter, tree branches growing out of heads , you know...

Ramblings About Me
Asie from looking through the forums and even on the net, you have to have some ideas of what you want the photos to convey. What emotions? Are they friends or are they lovers? Do you want to capture playful moments? Serious times? Indoors? Outdoors? Studio? What do they like to do? There are many scenarios. Let's assume they are friends from grammer school and have done all the girlie growing up together and they are now going off to college but they want to remember each other. Maybe they played soccer in school together. Take them to a soccer field and have them kick a few balls around and interact. Maybe just take them to a Coffee House and have them sit and chat at a table depicting their friendship. Or could they be doing something together as friends that defines them. So many things to think about ....what is in common and what do they want that photo to mean?

Playgrounds can be such fun for kids of all ages, just don't go there when it is full with little kids

Good Idea, and easy to find.
Jungle Gyms, Monkey Bars, Teeter Totters, and Slides would seem to be playful, eccentric, and cozey, for adults.
