SF trip
Well, looks like it's my turn to share some plunder from the SM party trip...
We arrived to Mountain View about 2:30 pm. Hotel Zico turned out to be a very nice place:
1: Our room:
Smugmug office was less than a mile away, we found it easily by huge posters. Inside was not your ordinary boring office:
2: SM office:
As it's been said by many, the party was great! I couldn't miss the important stuff, of course:
3: Open bar:
Food was awesome:
4: Cheese table:
And the company just doesn't get any better:
5: David and Marc:
Next day we visited the sacred point - GGB:-) Below are few shots...
6: Golden Gate Bridge:
7: Fort Pont stairway:
8: Fort Point 3d floor:
9: Surf by the Fort Point:
10: Classic view:
11: SF skyline:
Once again, thank you Smugmug! :thumb

Cheers,
I love that staircase shot and I'm kicking myself for taking the other stairwell back down, not that one.
It was good to see you again!

It's great that you too had a good party, it always brings a nice feeling when you see people you see everyday in a different environment, esp. dressed up and such.
I was trying to avoid typical views (like it was possbile:-), glad at least some of the shots made it :-)
Staircase was difficult... Very dark...Still managed to get it handheld at 0.6 sec :ivar
It was great to see you, too!

The problem with GGB is that it's the most photographed bridge in the world, so it's really hard to come out with something different, especially during a very short family trip (hence no early morning/late night shots)
Good luck!
I think my faves of the bunch are the Fort Pont stairway and Fort Point 3d floor. And you got some really interesting non-standard views of the bridge!
Thanks, April!
Well, I promised my ladies that I will take them for a walk, photography only if applicable..:-)
I particularly like #6, great perspective, and #12 & 14.
I love the shots of the smugmug paaar-tay, sure wish I could have gone!
And did you notce how dapper DavidTO looks?!
Thanks for sharing!

Terrific set.
I didn't know SmugMug's offices are in MV. I used to live in Mountain View.
I miss going to downtown MV to eat.
Really enjoyed your shots of Fort Point. It's one of my favorite places
in SF. It's got it all, great view of the Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, and
a historical fort.
Very creative angle with the chain fence.
Thanks for sharing.

Alvin,
thank you for your kind words!
Yes, you are indeed fairly close to MV:-)
Cheers!

All you have to do to get it is to lay flat on the concrete:-)
