Cold morning.

The frost was on the ground and in the bushes this morning when I dragged myself out of my pit at 8am.

Here are a couple after I mustered up enough energy to step out into the chilly morning air...

First is a London's Pride rosette in the back garden:

Created from 2 images stacked using CZ, the focus being on the front edge of the leading leaf in the first image, and then deeper into the florette on the second.

ISO 100, 2.5 seconds and 3.2 seconds @ f/16.

For those who don't know what CZ is look here:

Second image is the Pyracantha berries in the front garden.

ISO 1600 (Yes!!!) @ 1/20sec f/16

Slightly cropped to remove a dead and rather ugly berry top right. I didn't remove it beforehand to be sure of not disturbing any ice...

Enjoy.

Paul.

Nice shots Paul. Good job of focus stacking. Like #2 the best.
