City made from steel (NYC after snow pictures)

I was visiting New York city two weeks ago. New York had it's first(?) snow this year. Due to reflection from snow, it's very bright, but since it was overcast, it shows a dull color tone.:huh
I took these pictures and lowered saturation to enhance the effect.
I'm sure there are neumerous NYC pitures much much better than mine, but I hope pictures post here can show you a cold NYC morning just after snow.

I love the first shot. Everything about it just looks great to me.

Most of the other shots have too much barrel distortion for my taste though. I think the second one has the most distortion. I don't know if you wanted it in there or not. There is a way to fix it with a Photoshop plugin, I think, thought I have not tired (none of my lenses go wide enough to distort).

Great composition and coloring on all the shots though. thumb.gif

I like #3. It really shows how crowded the buildings are in NY.

I love the fourth one down - such a great juxtaposition of the old and the new(er).

It's hard to get shots of NYC without people in them. Great job!

I like the shots a lot. I like the drab color in all of them. Fits with the winter theme. Good job. thumb.gif

    Thank you!
Thank you, everyone, for your kind words.:D
Some of these shots were taken with kit lens, so although the sharpness is good, distortion is quite profound.
I really enjoyed photo trip that morning, and took tons of pictures. As you may noticed in the last picture, after a while, it started to snow again. I am still processing those NEF files and maybe I can find a few good snow scene pictures.
