Scroll wheel in ACR 4.3 doesn't do what I want

I just started using ACR and can't seem to get the mouse scroll wheel to be recognized after clicking in the numeric settings boxes for exposure, fill light, etc. In CS3 (and other programs I use) this seems to work fine, but I can't seem to find the preference setting to get it to work in ACR. Any clues?
