Bulk Gallery Pricing, Error?

:dunno I usually go through each gallery from a show or event and set the prices, but I decided to use the bulk option. I checked a couple galleries, but not all. Apparently most left the "0.00" for non-offered objects blank. I found this out today as one customer cancelled an almost $200 order so they could go and purchase the "discounted" prints. (The prints already were discounted 20%!!)

I have no idea how many people ordered these non-priced prints since this information doesn't show up in our sales logs. Is there any way for us to see this? From what this parent said many of the other parents have done this, so I've already lost a couple hundred dollars. :huh Looks like I'll be avoiding the bulk settings for now.

    Hi Christina,

Ouch, I'm terribly sorry that you've had troubles with bulk pricing galleries! I just tried it for myself and I couldn't see any problems with it. Could you email us some private sample galleries to our help desk (help@smugmug.com) if you still experience this problem?
Please provide us with as much detail as possible and we'll be looking into this.

    Thanks!

    Sebastian,
Thanks for the reply. I went back and repriced the galleries effected and I also redid my "Portfolio" pricing. Does portfolio pricing only effect new galleries? When I reset the portfolio prices they did not effect current galleries.

Also, am I correct that when new items are added to the product list, example photo cards, canvas prints, etc. That they are added to galleries with no cost and we have to go through and change each one?

    Thanks,
    Christina
