Somerset House

This is Somerset House, built as a sort of huge office building for various Emperial bureaucracies in the 18th century. Now it also houses some museums.

I always think of this place as the home for the all the UK birth/death/marriage records but looking at the web site that moved out in 1970.

Beautiful place, I hope to do some night shots of the fountains when I get a chance.
