This afternoon, I shot many pictures of this flower.
Some of them were outside, late in the afternoon.
To fill in the shadows I used the ST E2 with my 430 EX.
To get this nice bokeh I used the superb Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS L USM coupled with the Canon 20D.
I shot the pictures with second curtain to allow the use of Aperture priority with speeds over the maximum speed synchronization.

Yes, they are called Lady Slippers--one of my favorite types of orchids.

I wanted to get a deeper background.
Today I used the same lens but with the 1.4 concerter.
It was kept in a cool place where the light is very soft all along the year.
The flower was born again this year.
We are going to keep it for the next year. Hope it holds.:D
