This simple task of a Cormorant feeding on a fish sometimes go by in a blink of an eye.
By the time the camera is focused the Cormorant is already on the hunt for more.
This set is a compilation from multiple efforts.

OUCH! THAT MUST HURT

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

That is just plain awesome, Russ!! clap.gif That is quite the documentary on the flip. I'm sure there's a nature magazine out there that would have to get their hands on your series.

Funny that fish does appear to have an "oh sh!t" look on his face. rolleyes1.gif

Thanks so much for your kind words Graham,
the "photography skill" is still a work in progress, but it does take some persevering indeed.
Unless they get a bigger than normal catch, you really have to anticipate to capture the action.
Hope to meet you at the Basin sometime soon
