This simple task of a Cormorant feeding on a fish sometimes go by in a blink of an eye.
By the time the camera is focused the Cormorant is already on the hunt for more.
This set is a compilation from multiple efforts.

Excellent behavioral captures Russ, but also just damn good photography! In that one frame that poor fish had an "Oh s*#%!" look.

That is just plain awesome, Russ!! That is quite the documentary on the flip. I'm sure there's a nature magazine out there that would have to get their hands on your series.

Funny that fish does appear to have an "oh sh!t" look on his face.

Thanks so much for your kind words Graham,
the "photography skill" is still a work in progress, but it does take some persevering indeed.
Unless they get a bigger than normal catch, you really have to anticipate to capture the action.

They at least seem to have a higher success rate at feeding than the Pelicans they constantly follow
