Small citrus and headphones =)

I hade booring yesterday evening so i blew the dust of my 70-300 lens and looked arround the room for some material...Found my beloved sennheiser Hd200 hedphone and some fruits. This is the result of it..

The optic isn´t sharp...it not as sharp as my soild lenses from the 70s Exep the sharpnes i think it´s deasent pics. Im not good at taking pics like this and had hard time to get the lightmeasure to work properly on them fruits.






and here is one of my 18-55 kit lens



Plz give me some tips so i can improve on this point!

Hi there Arvid ... being bord can often lead to some some surprising results.
I love it when folks on Dgrin
It is often when they are the most creative.

Your second shot with the fruit look a little over saturated to me.
The green band on your lens looks like it is a neon light.
I like the soft light you achieved for this one
