    Very nice Hanseat!
I like all of them, especially the last one. The color and clarity look spot on and I think your panning is very impressive too clap.gif

Welcome to the forum also...this is a great community with many photographers at all skill levels!

I did just get two new lenses, granted they are third party but I am happy with them. I got the chance to shoot just what you have in Homestead Miami a few weeks ago and man, how cool. one of these days....lol for now i'll just keep drooling.

Jan, A bunch of tracks offer pit passes for sale to the general public. They cost about 100 dollars in addition to your tickets, but worth it. You can go all over pit road, just not in the garage and other "special" areas. They are also called "cold" passes. Once the cup cars are out and the track is "hot" they kick you out, but you see a lot in the meantime....

I have a few decent (not great) pit stops and cars on the track if you would like to see them. I dont post them much because I dont think they are good enough....

Thanks for the compliment (what do you mean by hp?)....I have tons of stuff in my gallery too.....:D

I started with the xt too....jumped to the 20D. I would rather skip the 30 or 40D and go strait to the big boy....That's a lot of saving....Good thing I'm patient...lol

    Thanks!

I love what you did with the flag....That just gives a whole new meaning! Beautiful!

Not so sure about the tires, though. I love b&W but dont play around too often. I really should....

I need to learn more about photoshop. I dont use it for much more that a little curves and sharpening, cropping, the usual. I need more time to sit and play around with it creatively.....time...ha, right....lol

Again im stunned... Many ( not all ) who shoot motorsport may be good at getting those pictures right. But can´t really do something else.

What you just did :cry:cry:cry:cry:cry is amazing :D the "thinking" "after work"

with feelings caught like that..you has to be human after all ;)

    Jan,

Not bad, however, I do feel you've gone a bit heavy on the PP, especially the vignetting as I find that it's detracting from the subject....

Tracey, you need to clean your sensor!! (and those pit shots are telling a good story..). The flag shot looks somewhat OOF. The tyre shot IMO, looks better in colour, becuase of the blue rims and yellow lettering. For me a bump in contrast is all it needs.

    OOPS!

I'm sorry, I thought most were familiar with the acronym, it means "post processing"..I do apologise.

The images that I felt were a bit heavy on the vignetting are the ones of the fuel gun and the front nose/wing.
