More Baby Scales
Taking baby pictures requires luck and the alignment of all the stars and planets to be just right. You have to avoid nap time, meal time, and in Iowa this week, you had to miss the ice storms. But I did get lucky and had the opportunity to take pics of a beautiful, happy, 6 month old. 6 months is the perfect age. They are very aware of their surroundings, they can sit up, yet they are not too mobile yet. I think I also may have finally figured out skin tones.....knock on wood.

The baby scale idea was lifted from a photog who took my baby girls pics at the age of 6 months, which was almost 2 years ago now. Moms always love the scale shot, but the baby has to be just the right age to be able to sit up, but not too interested in crawling. The scales were a nice $20 eBay purchase. but they are very "tippy", so I have attached them to a white board to make them a bit more stable. I've cloned out the three sets of adult arms waiting to catch her if she tipped.
