can I delete standard categories?

For ease of use when working with my categories, I'd love to shorten the list to just the ones I've created myself. I never have any need for categories for animals, weddings, weather, etc. Can I remove them so I don't see them?

    Sorry, only categories you create can be deleted. Maybe someday they'll
    either let us do that or sort all our/your cats to the top.

    No worries. Thanks for your answer! That's all I need. SmugMug gives us so much great stuff. I only wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something.
