The picture was taken looking into a side mirror on and old truck in bright sun light. When I loaded it into Ellements, there was my eye in the middle of the lense. I have never had that happen before..... Any ideas how that happened?? Nikon D40.... And I didn't put it there......

    :yikes

Very weird but I think it makes a great photo even better. I've never seen that myself, but now I'm curious to try to replicate that.

Leaforte....Skippy.....Schmoo....Raphy.... Thanks for the positive comment about my picture.....

To duplicate the picture.. I think you will have to keep your camera away from your face and have light on your eye.....My glasses kept mine away.. Past that I'm not sure.... AZZARO

Strange -- Bright sun and your pupil is fairly dilated.

I do like the tonality of your picture. thumb.gif

I really like the picture too, Azzaro!

Re: pupil in bright sunlight... this is a great effect! Your right eye is closed, and your left eye is focusing into the inside of the camera, the pupil appears dilated because it is averaging between no-light in the right eye and bright sideways light coming into your left.

This picture shows three great optics... your D40 and your 2 eyes.

    Marvelous!

:edit: make that your left eye that is closed -- in the mirror!! :)
