Wine Glass (boring title, sorry)

It's hard to think of an exciting title. After all - it is an image of, well, a wine glass...

With my interest being in the looking at things small (now now).. I was flicking through the latest AP magazine and decided to reproduce an image from there.

I went for something similar, but with a different aspect - i.e. I changed the lighting. The mag shot was clearly a studio lit shot. Mine is lit by using a candle (one of those fragrant waxed ones) placed on the same surface, to one side (so at least the house smelled better when I had done) to make the lighting one-dimensional.

Then, in otherwise total darkness, proceded to take a 20 second exposure at f/2.8.

So, there you go.

This is very nice Paul looking into the glass from that angle,
and being able to see all those nice cuts in the glass looks great.

Nice colour reflecting from the Candle too clap.gif Well Done!
