Friend of mine just had a baby. These are some of the baby on day one, and most at one week old. Boy, it is hard to get a picture of this "age" with their eyes open, and being still (except when sleeping). I was just wanting to share.

Wow! That is one good looking one week old!!!! Nice shots, you really did a great job, babies are hard, but at one week, they just don't do much so it makes it even harder!!!!

very very nice. What a lovely baby! It is so hard to get good ones of those sqirmy quirky little humans...lol. My baby is close to 8 months old now, so you know Ive been torturing the poor thing with mini photo shoots all her little life. She's going to hate cameras when she gets bigger....lol

    Keep up the great work!

You did exceptionally well in these and your shots have great skin tones. Probably helped that this is one beautiful little baby!!! :D

She was delivered via C-section, that helped to make her look as good as she does at 1 week.:D

That's my favorite of them all. I did do some photoshop to smooth out and even her skin tone.

I did not get into photography until my daughter was much older--she's 12 yrs old now, and I sometimes have to "twist her arm" to get her to let me photograph her :D. Little ones are very squirmy, but very cute too!iloveyou.gif

I agree about the flashes/lights. I used some natural light, "normal" living room light, and bounced my flash off the ceiling--away from those delicate eyes.
