I have a Bogen 3001BPro tripod and 3030 head and am looking for a carrying strap for the combo. Anyone have a recommendation?

I know Bogen makes or did make a carrying strap for tripods. I have one laying in the back of my vehicle that I never use.

Does it clip to a loop near the head and another at the base of the center pole or is it a head clip and then wrap around the bottom of the legs?

Thanks - I may get a quick-release strap to replace the OEM that came with my 717, too.

    Tris,

You know what I use on my 717 strap, is keyrings that detach in the middle. Very cheap and works fast and easy.

    Just thought I would share.

Thanks for reminding me of that, Tim. I'm not sure if I like the OEM Sony strap though. It just seems a bit too thin now that I've been using it for a while. I suppose the quick release key rings (I already have one for my car/house keys) would work with whatever strap I get.
