Checking in

Hi gang,

I'm just checking in amid a bit of real-life chaos. I got a new job so I've been going between both worlds as I prepare to embark on the greatest challenge of my professional life. Plus, we'll have to move--so we've been scouting houses, etc. It's a tremendously exciting time and I'm so thankful for this new opportunity. I am looking forward to this week being over and having a couple of weeks of down time before I start the new gig.

And then there's the fact that my camera is still broken. I sent it to Canon on the 6th but have no word on it's status. I've checked the site and nada. If I don't hear anything by the end of this week, I'll consider panicking.

I miss you all and can't wait to play again. I hope I get to before it's all over!

    I'm glad you have mostly good news to gloss over the horrible news of your camera :cry

    Maybe a new year with a newly fixed camera?
    Hopefully you will be able to jump back in before the Final.

    Congrats on everything Jesse! Hopefully Santa will bring you a like new camera. We especially missed your wit and distractions over the long wait that we had for results this round. I almost posted a "where is Indie when you need her?" thread. rolleyes1.gif

    Hi Jesse! Wow - very exciting on your new career! congratulations! I totally understand the house shopping and moving part - just did that! Amazing how disrupting it can be. I wish you well in everything! Keep us posted.

    Definitely call Canon! I called and they entered the camera under a new work order and it was almost done...

    Camera is fixed and on it's way. With any luck, I'll get it back in time for this last round. Here's to hoping!!!

    We're all praying it'll arrive in time for THIS round. I'm sure some thought or action will cross your mind... I'm sure you have a charged battery somewhere!
