not a birder though I find them interesting a beasutiful. No idea of the names and such. :dunno

Took these this past weekend at a local Urban Riparian Preserve with a meetup group.

Looks like a golden eagle, a peregrine falcon and some greater yellowlegs in the wild. Nice crisp, clear shots.

I don't know about that yet- I need bigger glass to get the stuff all of you guys get. There is a raptor rescue near where my house is being built so I think I will stick with the portraits.

The small shorebirds are dowitchers, not Yellowlegs Stephen! I'll let you decide wether they are long-billed, or short-billed!

Meh, shorebirds and sparrows are my downfall! All those peeps really get me confused. They all look alive. D I give.
