On my next visit to the Botanic Gardens I found this obliging fellow who posed nicely for quite some time :)

    Hi Dave, congratulations on the Dragonfly capture clap.gif
    I'm impressed with his eyes, especially in the second shot.

    The water droplets on the fern look very sharp,
    and I see you have a single coloured droplet,
    or something coloured reflecting in that one droplet.

    Thanks for the comments folks.

    I didn't notice that coloured drop till I was working on it in photoshop. I can't think of anything that could have been reflected in it so it must have been either from a coloured source (maybe a kid spilled a drink?) or the drop ha been tainted by something.

    I was going for sharpness so I'm glad you noticed that, Skippy :)

    Lovey shots...dragon flys are such friendly creatures....they love to show off and pose in many positions...
