When is a Bird a Pig?
First of all, we have the dainty Bluebird. Comes in and gets a tasty treat for the kiddos back in the nest...
Then this Robin takes over and ....well, just plain makes a pig outta itself! What I'd like to know is how the heck does it get the last couple of worms in it's beak without dropping all the others! :1drink

Poor spruce tree looks like it has a problem tho?
Ever seen a blue jay in a feeder? seeds flying everywhere as it digs to find the peanuts. And believe it or not, they can get two peanuts in their craw, one in their beak and fly like that!
These are lovely shots - nice colors andgreat DOF.

Ramblings About Me
Hi Ann,
And yeah, not only the Blue Jays but the the Finches too. I use Safflower seed (song birds love it and the Squirrels and Blackbirds aviod it like the plague)...anyway, I'll be looking thru the viewfinder and it looks like it's snowing with the little white safflower seeds being thrown everywhere....then the finch finds the one he likes! Don't know what made that one so special. At least the ground feeders (Doves etc) enjoy picking up the spoils.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
