Spent a couple of cold December days in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. I haven't done a lot of cold weather photography and wanted to see how my trusty Nikon D70 would work under very cold and wet conditions. All of these were taken with the Nikon 18-200VR lens (I turned off the VR when using the tripod). It certainly was a challenge!

American Falls

Close ups and then a couple of long views. Taken from the Canadian side.

Horseshoe Falls

These are the Canadian falls which are hard to get good photos of because of the large spray cloud which is constantly created. I got a couple of close ups of the eastern side and then a couple of long views during the day and at night. There was some water drops on the lens for the night shots and you can see the ice on the railings, couldn't get too close and keep my equipment from getting soaked.
