D300 newbie pics
I am starting to get the hang of it, took a lot and managed to get some good ones. Geese are unedited except cropping, the mallard with leaves I was trying out the Capture NX to try and improve one. Lens was a Sigma 170-500 on a monopod, shutter priority setting. Having a blast learning this one.
This board is a great resource and I have aquired much knowledge and lost much sleep because of D Grin since I bought the D300.

Yes the first one is on the light side I went to print and it came out a bit dark so I lighten it a bit more to get a good print. Have to get a better synch between monitor and printer.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Here is some more I took that day
Anyone got a Q Tip
Because I was doing this
