From Sth Luangwa Nat Park- Zambia.
Nikon D2Xs/300 f/2.8 VR.

The "Hollywood pride" of Lions tearing apart an Impala.
We watched these 4 stalk and hunt down a nervous Impala herd under a moonless night with one female hiding in a small gully and hitting it as it tried to jump the gully, you could hear the thump 100yds away from our vehicle.

Impossible to pick a favorite out of this great series but the wildebeast and warthog standout since they're not often seen. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi CookieS

In combination with the vehicle spotlight, I used a Better Beamer flash extender + off camera bracket.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

So, you are taking me in your luggage the next time you go, right? Just let me borrow a lens and I will squeeze into an overhead bin with my 40D. rolleyes1.gifSeriously, I have enjoyed all your shots from Africa. Like Harry, I really like the wildebeest tussling. The female warthog is just funny! And your first one shows the brutal realities of life in the African grasslands.
