Tamra..working on lighting

I am trying to find lighting system that works for me for outside.
These are outside in a park.
These are with on camera fill flash at -3 and a white reflector very
close her face. Overcast day about 30 degrees.
I think the lighting in these is about right. I am trying to get away from flat looking lighting.
Constructive criticisms appreciated...

Very pretty, and I do think you got your lighting about right. I think the catch lights right smack in the middle of the pupils look weird though. Was this the pop-up flash, or did you use a really long lens?

    pretty and nice shots-

I think the eyes might be a little overdone-

maybe duplicate a layer before you do it so you can use the opacity slider to adjust?-

It appears as if some heavy duty post processing has been done. My guess is over sharpening. Also they both lack contrast, although the first is better than the second in that respect. A curves or levels adjustment would fix that, but the oversharpening cannot be fixed unless you rework the original.

yep, looks like too much noise reduction + sharpening. back those off to about half of what you have. my rule of thumb is that if you can look at it and tell that it's been processed, then its too much.
