Here they come to snuff the Rooster - Yeah, here come the Rooster
This is a Silkie Rooster. I've never seen one, never even heard of one.
It belongs to a friend of mine who raises all kind'a farm birds at the side of his house.
He sells the birds when the babies get old enough and he sells the eggs, too.
Also he raises them for contests. He told me what he named him, but I forgot what it was.
The female doesn't wanna be held. This one doesn't mind. In this picture he's on his owner's lap.
He has feathers on his tail and wings, but the rest is like hair. The tail and wings are mixed with hair. A very unique bird.
I'll give the name of this Rooster as soon as I see the owner again.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
PS: Though the song 'The Rooster' was written by Layne, it was in reference to Jerry Cantrell's father, and his plight in Viet Nam.

He's about to by two Ringneck Pheasants.
