I caught these guys standing in the rain, I guess they were planning their next move...

It is a gaggle of geese! whee! :D

Like what you've captured here. I definitly think they're either resting, or planning their next move! thumb.gif

The background appears to be scratchy though? ne_nau.gif

The 'scratchy' background, if the shot were larger you could tell, actually is streaked from the falling rain.

    This is a very...
...nice photo! Geese are not easy to capture properly...because they blend with the background. They stand out very well in this shot. thumb.gif

Yes, and a nice shot too. I really like the colors and tone.

Yes I agree it's a very nice shot and I like how you captured them in the same pattern standing as they would be flying! :D

    Angelo,
Not only are they gathered in in that pattern, I watched them as they walked up the small hill, they all followed the leader in almost the same pattern! They must have some rules...

I really like it. Looks like they are having a conversation about you, without trying to look at you..like: "Dude look at the guy over there...no don't look at him, but you see him? What's he doing?"

Or maybe that is just my really strange mind in action. I love the colours! I think the contrast between the grass and the birds is great especially.
