Showing smugmug usernames in pic's of Invites ?

If I send you a invite to check out my site, etc, etc, when I (or others) click on the photo it brings up my site but it shows 'username.smugmug.com' in the address. Then it continues to show 'username.smugmug.com' in the address bar while navigating. While moving mouse over photo in the invite e-mail, it also shows the URL for the picture with the smugmug account name.

Is there a way that it can show my vanity URL instead of my smugmug account name for the photo in the email invite, and then in the address bar while visiting my site?

I don't replicate this behavior at all. Where are you sharing from please? Exactly what gallery, please give me a link. Thanks.

When I sent it to a friend, as soon as they move their mouse over the picture in the e-mail, it has the URL only I would see when I'm logged in my smugmug account. They click on the link in the e-mail, and the first page on my website where the picture is located has the same smugmug URL in the address. Not my 'vanity' address. It continues to show my user name in the address bar. If she goes to other galleries or pictures it still displays my smugmug ID. Only after clicking on a link in the banner does my vanity URL start showing.

I can send a invite to any of you guys if you'd like to see another example.

It depends on what domain you were on when you sent out the invitation.

Well when I sent out the invite, I believe I was logged in as net1994. But how can I send out a invite and use the address book without being logged in as net1994? Can I sign in to just my address book but not the smugmug site?

No, I'm sorry for the confusion. It is not related to as who/if you are signed in or not, but what address is showing in your browser at the time that you sent out the invitation.

If you click the invitation button while you are on this address:
www.paintbypixels.com/gallery/3850304/1/233478019#233478019
the invitation will show a link to paintbypixels.com

If you are on this address:
net1994.smugmug.com/gallery/3850304/1/233478019#233478019
the invitation will be sent out with a link to net1994.smugmug.com.

Does that make sense?

Yep, I think I'm good now. If I see 'user.smugmug.com' in the address bacr I will replace it with www.paintbypixels.com. So far so good.
