    hi steve.. hmmm.. I don't know to be honest... I'm quite muddled about this challenge and keep hopping from one thought to another... do you love it???

    I'm not sure if this is full frame or a crop. My comment is HIGHLY subjective, but the peak of the wave is pretty dead centre and somehow the photo doesn't quite sit with me. I like the sense of motion, the minimal colours, but the big wave in the centre feels out of balance.

    Have you tried an image with just the soft/smooth portion?

    This is very tough challenge to critique!

    speaking of critiquing, Andy & Joeiciweuiw (however you spell it rolleyes1.gif ) have their work cut out for them for sure!! I really like the colors of this shot, although the suggestion about the wave is certainly worth thinking about. it would be interesting to see just the smooth portion but would that make it too purely abstract? ug, my brain is starting to melt. ne_nau.gif
