I just got back from a trip up to St Helens (Washington) for the weekend with the g/f. Got to try out my newly rented 20D, 17-35mm L and 100-400mm L (this thing is a beast). Thought I would share some of the better shots! Hope you enjoy the series.
This is a veiw of St Helens from highway 503. It was a pretty clear day with minimal clouds.
Random reservoir that we drove by. Thought it was kinda pretty
Sunset on the mountain, unfortunaty the road around the base was closed due to snow and ash from it's recent eruption so this was about as close as we got :cry
Token night shot from out of the car window. I don't know why, but I really like this one :thumb
Speak softly and carry a BIG LENS! I couldnt resist this shot... the shadow was too funny!
Hope you enjoyed the show... Thanks for looking and comments are ALWAYS welcome!
Thanks
