maybe I shouldn't say for dummies since it's for some people who I really care about :D but they are absolutely clueless when it comes to computers. So being that they are clueless, they send me image files that are 2mb each in size. Lots of them.

I need to know what software is out there for extreme novices that can do batch resizing.

:ear

ps. free would be nice.

Irfanview can do this (and much more) and it's free.

You can use David's Batch Processor (http://members.ozemail.com.au/~hodsond/dbp.html) with the gimp (http://www.gimp.org/) for a GPL toolchain.

If the other people you are talking about use microsoft or apple, maybe one of the easy everything programs like picasa or iphoto would do what they (you) need.
