White Tailed Hawk portrait (c)
This is a picture of white tailed hawk from the Texas State Aquarium that I took last month. I was hoping to see one of these in the wild, but it wasn't to be. This little guy's injuries are as such that he will never be released to the wild, but he is well cared for. Lots of fish to eat. :roflThere was a wire mesh that focused out of the picture to the best of my abilities.

I really like the pic, but I think you should blur the mesh a whole lot more.
Not sure what s/w you're using, but try this:
duplicate layer
blur layer (Guassian blur radius 40)
add a hide all mask to the blurred layer
paint on the mask with a white brush in the area of the mesh.
I've just tried this, and with about 10mins work (you need to be careful around the head) it looks a whole lot better. I will PM you my attempt when I finish.

Thanks Al. I will try it. Oh, and I do not know exactly what caused its injuries, but it obviously had suffered some sort of wing trauma. Gunshot, vehicle, animal, I'm really not sure.

You can leave it up longer than that. Other people might be interested in what you did. No worries.
