I was going through pictures of this past fall in prep for the late end of season party coming up and found this that I thought I'd share. This young guy plays on my 11 yo son's team. He's just amazing to watch - his hustle, skill and finess (?) for some one this age is incredible. Glad he's on our side

That's a nice capture.

I often wonder as I'm shooting youth and high school sports, if I'm photographing any players who will really make a mark on their sport a few years down the road. There are those who just seem to stand out with their athleticism.

Hi Kent,

thanks for stopping by. I know what you mean about future stars - but I think that once in a life time event has already happened for this club (before my time) - Landon Donovan played here (around 1994, before he moved onward and upwards to the premier leagues) as a young player.

The red shirt & longish curly hair cought my attention. It reminded me of shot I got of a girl goalie this past Fall. She was just an amazing goalie for someone her size and age!
In one shot she has that 'oh my god' kind of look as she leans in to grab the ball with other players charging after it too, with their feet of course!!
Her parents ended up buying a couple of prints. They, the images, were just too good to pass up.

lol - I think he gets that a lot (at least away from ear shot).
