nice. I'd select the snow and go one way or the other with it--make it drop to completely white, or darken slightly so you see a bit of the texture.

Maybe I should blow out the snow - it is quite monitor specific I think. On my editing mac, it is pretty good just following the histogram and the indicators in CS3, but then on this laptop, well, its not so good.
I have been seeing #1 among the goldfinches and chickadees at my feeders but didn't know their name. The colors of #2 are great. clap

Thanks - I had one redpoll with the chickadees for several weeks. Then I refilled the feeder, and viola, millions of redpolls. They stay for a while in winter; in the early fall we get lots of pine siskins (eat one out of house and home) and last summer I actually had MANY goldfinches. Have occassionally spotted a few of the rarer, more exotic finches but not on a regular basis like these guys.
