i was wondering if anyone here can help me. i've been using britek pro500 lights for my studio work, they are about 6 years old & i'm starting to have some problems with them.

the problem is that i keep blowing the fuse on one of the lights for the flash tube. could it mean i need a new flash tube? none of the bulbs have been replaced since i got the lights & i don't even know how many photo's i've taken over the years.

anyone know what the problem could be? i replaced the fuse a few times & it just keeps blowing. sometimes i'll get 100 shots, sometimes it blows instantly. i've contacted the company & their only suggestion for me is to send the lights to them for repair & won't give me any info on why they may be blowing the fuses. i'm just not sure it's cost effective to ship them for repair at this point.

thanks for the help!!

Usually, a fuse that blows frequently is an indication of some other problem.

My recommendation would be to send the units back for repair or to stop
using them. The reason I suggest you stop using them is because if there is
a problem, it could could cause more damage to the power pack or worse,
    cause an electrical fire.
