On a machine running XP Pro w/SP2, I see no images in the banner.
The same page on a non-SP2 (HE) machine, images appear fine.
Any ideas?
Ian
P.S. I should mention this is on the dgrin pages.

Disabling the firewall didn't help...but I don't understand why this would
affect a page since I assume these are image links just like those imbedded
in a post?

XP Pro/SP2, all latest patches, IE6.x - all's kosher..
Prolly firewall..
It can't hurt

I should add that the other machine is behind the same fw and it works
(though is not sp2--but this didn't start happening until after the sp2 install).

In your browser, look in the top menu for Tools.
Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level.
When in Custom Level, look for:
.
.
.
Java
Java Permissions
( ) Custom
( ) Disable Java
(*) High safety
( ) Low safety
( ) Medium safety
.
.
.
Scripting of Java applets
( ) Disable
(*) Enable
( ) Prompt
If Java is what is used for the banners, and SP2 turns it off by default, then that could be the problem.

But I like to contemplate the idea
Nova.
Nice try though!

For *NIX, it's "reboot"
Ian
Its real nice being able to restart the process, not the computer. I can get some monster uptime on my laptop. Hell, my gf's iBook has bout 45 days uptime now.
