This makes me think of some kind of amphitheatre surrounded by a high wall. It's actually a view looking vertically up the side of Guildford Cathedral (UK) from an arched recess. Taken with a little pocket Canon Ixus.

    You got me. I've been to ruins in Europe that are basically just like what I first saw, maybe filled with people festing in the summer. Quite Escher-ist. Another cool shot!
