    Yes. From the B&H website, important note for the Canon EF-S 10-22:
    Only compatible with the 40D, 30D, 20D and Digital Rebel series cameras

    Yep, its a crop sensor body just like the xt/xti/20d/30d - I belive the only crop sensor canon slr (in recent memory anyway) that's not fully s compatable is the 10d as its mirror was a bit bigger I think.

    Yes, the 40D is compatible wtih EF and EF-s mount lenses.
