Nice pics. There is a Bald Eagle that hangs around about two miles from where I live but I need a bigger lens to fully capture him.

Nice shutter punching Dave! I really like the last one in the amber light. I went down to the Texas Hill Country to get some eagles and wasn't able to get in good BIFs. Yours look very nice. thumb.gif

thanks Stephen....i think they are just ok ...besides the lack of light on all but the last few pics. , I think I might be having focusing problems with my bigma.

Very nice series of images and I too like that last shot. I really like the amber color coming throught the tail feathers.

Hi Dave.. Tough shootin in the bad weather but at least you were out there given it your best. I sat still for 5 hours the other day waiting as 4 eagles stayed on the other side of the lake.. never ventured anywhere near for even a glancing shot.. and then they were gone.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
