Older guy just trying to figure this out.
You need to try harder.
(Red X's arn't real interesting.)

I like the "X" on the left better. Better composition, Color, & Contrast.

I merged the two threads you started, but your larger images aren't showing up. I'm not sure how Picasa works, otherwise I'd try to give you a hand. Your tags look good so it's not a forum thing.
From what I can see on the thumbnail, it looks as though you've got some great landscapes to show us. Alaska is beautiful!

I'm looking at large photos on this site.
Thanks for letting me know.
Happy new year to all.
What seems to be the problem?
www.ivarborst.nl & smugmug
I'm new to this forum.
I posted a photo and people said they could not see it.
I have had that problem on another photo site.
Think I should join Smugmug.
Thank You
I'm going to merge your threads again. Testing to see if images will show up in a post works just as well for replies as they do for new threads.

I use picasaweb too and I know how to fix your problem. Looking at the properties of the thumbnail of your 1st post, I was able to look at your Alaska album. You need to click on the thumbnail to view the larger picture, then copy the address in the properties of that picture and use it as the image link in your post on dgrin. Notice that at the end of the address there's a parameter imgmax=800, which defines the width of the picture. If you don't mind, this is the address of that 1st picture:
http://lh4.google.com/Gracenrich/Ru7TeLfJ58I/AAAAAAAAAYU/TPhwci5mVYM/DSC_0444.jpg?imgmax=800
Now you just wrap the above address with the image tags [IMG]http:/....imgmax=800[/IMG] and you're good to go. Try it and let me know if this doesn't make sense. By the way, beautiful pictures in your album.

gracenrich,
Don't take the ribbing seriously.
Come sit a spell, and chat. Most of the folks here are quite nice once you get to know them.
