Ha ha! Great shot. I really like the COA--it really works with the subject
    front and center.

What a shot. I love how all the heads are missing except Nate's. Your pictures give me fisheye lens lust.

I've tried for years to get my wife to have anyone who came in the house to take off their shoes-

frankly, it's a very nasty habit if thought through-

does this give you any idea of who has the last word at our house?-

FWIW, shoes aren't typically worn in my house.

I think the title fits this photo like a glove!!

I agree the title works really well especially with how you composed little Nate smack in the center of his universe, while everyone else is circling the edge of his world! Funny and great PP as usual!

Cool W.A. Plenty of detail, and I even like the grain of the floor.

I like this one a lot, the lens used really makes the title of the photograph work. I can imagine though that you would get tired of a whole album of processed pics like that.
I like this shot a lot... centre of attention allright... The best place to be for a baby... Love the people around it busy with other things too.
I am thinking fiddling in seeing this photograph, a lot going on. Nicely done!

Hi George. I like it. The pose of the kid is remarkable. The colors and textures are brilliantly achieved. I think the composition is less successful - there is too much in the frame which is not caught in the vortex around the central subject; and this vortex disappears in the lower portion of the frame because too much is outside the frame . Another problem is the hands of the figure right. It strikes me as a partially realised vision, which maybe more searching in the viewfinder for the compositional elements might have improved. Enjoyed looking, thanks!

gefillmore, I love the processing on this and similar shots.
Could you please share with me your technique here or show me a link to how this is achieved?
    Thanks

Me too, please!:smooch I didn't like to ask before because I wasn't sure if you wanted to give away the fruit of your hard work. But if you don't mind I'd really be very interested in how you achieve these effects. Thanks, George.

Love this photo George! I actually prefer this one to the second version you posted. Seems less cluttered, and provides a bit more focus on the main subject, but that's just my opinion.

If you don't mind, could you PM me with your PP workflow as well when you have a chance?

    Thanks, and happy new year!
