How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Thanks Harry
There are two more flowers ready to open on the same bush.
Fingers crossed what appear to be two Buds on my other plants actually eventuate......they are flowers I have never seen before, except in books, and I am not sure if they are flower buds or just going to be extensions of the same plant .... they should be quite stunning if they are baby flowers :):

These plants are know to attract Butterflies and Nector seeking birds.

    Take Care Harry.......... Skippy (Australia)

Good looking bloom Skippy thumb.gif So do most of your birds hang around during the Fall/Winter? If so, they are gonna love this plant. Nice bright colors and it looks like it will produce lots of nectar. Plus, it'll make a beautiful background for any bugs or birds you catch on it clap.gif

I live on the coast, and we don't get a lot of birds, except sparrows :D
I have seen little honey eaters on the plants in my nextdoor neighbours fence, so I had a look what they planted, and went down to the nursery to see what I could put in that was attractive to Birds and Butterflies and Native.

Steve if those flower buds on the other two plants come out I will be sure to photograph them because they have really spectacular flowers, totally different to the one I posted.

The Swan Plants I put in are hopefully the ones that will bring in the butterflies to do their complete life cycle, and the Gravillea's will help feed them once they hatch. < --- that's the plan :):
