My first post here. I've been in awe of the amazing macro shots I've seen here! My experience with photography has been about two weeks but I've been going macro. I shot these today with my D80 and 60mm f/2.8 using a SB600 flash and tri-pod.
Hope you enjoy them and have a safe and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you as well.....................
Welcome to the Macro Forum Liftoff
For just 2 weeks doing Macro you are ploughing along aren't you
Love the brilliant colours, and they sure are sharp
Using a tripod can make a huge difference with Macro shots,
but it isn't always practical to do so depending what and where you subject is.
Excellent First Post looking forward to seeing more.
Happy New Year to you and your family too.
