Catagories and Subcatagories limitations

Wondering if anyone can help me out - I'm trying to figure out a new gallery structure for my site but it seems i'm limited in the levels of of catagories and subcatagories.

it seems to me i'm limitied to somthing like this

MAIN PAGE - CATAGORY - SUBCATAGORY

Is it possible create a structure that goes deeper than that ?? I'm at a loss in trying to figure this out.

Right now, as far as I can tell, it goes Category-->Subcategory-->Gallery. I don't think there's an option to create a sub-subcategory if that's what you want. In all honesty though (learned this from my photobucket experiences), to many categories within categories and galleries within galleries just makes navigation a bit of a pain for most people. Hope this helps.

If you just want the occasional sub-sub-category, try this thread.

If you want a more elaborate structure, then you might be able to do it via gallery redirects.

However, don't forget about "click fatigue" - the reason why the default smugmug is limited to sub-categories.
